Rising Star.

This is going to be a different post then normal. In this update i will be talking about my old endgame Linkshell called Rise.

It was never the best shell out there, we didn't have a lot of "leet" players, we never got mass amounts of people joining because they thought we were the best. It was a nice and stable Ls. Rise to me was just a ls that had about 30 loyal members who loved endgame like me. We did pretty good as a sky ls but failed as a HNM ls.

All the times i had with Rise would have to be some of my best ingame experiences. Be it camping Ulli, killing pop NMs or getting our Kirin kill time down to about 50 mins. It was fun.

Like our time doing a Gigis NM in Lufaise Meadows. It was a pop NM that we had a blast on. No one cared about winning. Hell Necrosis Mpked me like 40 times that day.(I owe him so much death >.>) We must have been there for about 6 hours just killing that stupid Gigis over and over.

Or the time we did Rostrum Pumps for Mages in our ls. We finished so fast it was insane. The longest pop took about 10 mins. Lol, I even remember Raes(The ls Pld) CFHing the mob. That was a good laugh there. We got a lot of mages their shoes that day.

All the times i spent making fun of the leaders. Namely Cix, Stara, and Hmk. We had lots of fun. Stara and myself constantly telling Cix if he were a woman we would have sex with him. Me telling Cix to solo Faust for us(He never did). Hmk being whipped like a bitch by his GF.(Was funny then and still is, boss :P) Stara....being, well, Stara.

The time the members went sky farming without the leaders and ended up spending about 7 hours at Zip. Cix cheating me out of my Coffer key for sky by zoning in and out and relotting till he beat me(bastard!).

Oh and the fun we had messing with other Ls. From Cst to Perse, we always had a blast. That's what made the ls great. Not getting the claim on HNMs or beating Jormy, Vtra, Faf, or w/e. Just having a good time. That is what games are for. Having a good time. Not spending years getting points for gear only to be beat by someone who doesn't deserve it, or waking up at all hours of the night to do Faf or w/e, or trying to be the best. Just having fun is all that's needed in this game and some people take it for granted.

I know at times i had some problems with the ls but it worked out for the best and those events made me become a stronger member of the shell.

I will miss that Ls a lot. I regret it ever breaking. To Hmk, Cix, Stara, Mot, Aza, Reya, Iheal, Lenn, Raes, Gal, Dire, Pyl, and anyone else who's name escapes my mind atm, I had a blast and would drop all my linkshells to do it again.
