Well for the past week or so i've been camping 2 Nms. One of a 14-24 hour spawn and the other is a 21-24 hour spawn. And all i can say about them is. I HATE NMS I HATE HATE HATE HATE HATE HATE HATE HATE THEM.
Let me start from the beginning.
My friend Lenneth needs one of the drops. Since he works a lot and can't really camp them i decided to be nice and do it for him. Of course i would charge him 2 mil for it. It costs 4 mils so i am being nice. I mean i am spending so many hours down there it's only fair i get paid.
Anyway for the first day i was just getting the ToD. And i happen to team up with a 75 Thf who happens to be duo screening a 72 Whm. Well a few hours go by(I mean 10 >.> ) and the Nm pops. We claim and get the drop, making me 1/1 on the Nm. yay, right? Wrong.
The Thf said he needed it for his Rng. Me being the nice person i am pass it and he gets it. I won't lie though. I stared at my screening thinking i should lot it. It was eating me up inside.
Should i be nice and give up this 4 mil weapon or be greedy and take it?
It felt like i was staring at my screen for hours weighing the pros and cons of both. But in the end i gave into my kinder self and passed. It really did hurt to do that but so long as he doesn't sell it and use it I'll be happy knowing i helped someone.
So i log for the night, ready to camp it again. Only the weirdest thing happened the next morning. There was no CC. There were the 2 bots but they didn't move, at all, for over a week. Meaning it was just me. I thought there might have been a midnight maint or something and all the ToDs got reset. Nope. maybe HNMs were up. Nope.
So i sit there, camping day after day, taking my time to claim. Hell even when the NMs popped i let them be for a few Min's. So after a few days of nothing, i get Lenneth to come and help. I'm there all day, like 14+ hours a day and I'm getting bored and lonely.
So when lenn gets up there the Nm spawns within minutes.
What.
The.
Fuck.
He's not there for 30 mins and BAM Nm. So I swear at Lenneth and tell him how much i hate him. I mean I really do hate the guy. Like kill him in his sleep hate. Like murder him and steal his video games hate.
Sorry, got carried away.
Where was i?
As yes. The Nms. So after that Lenneth started popping up when he was done work.
That's the extent of my luck. I'm now about 1/10 on one and 0/10 on the other. If i didn't want to be a kick ass melee Whm i would quit now and murder Lenneth.

I know.
Yeah, I know. I haven't updated in a while. Nothing interesting has been happening lately. My FF life has come to a stand still. I'm bored. >.>
The most interesting thing that happened since my last post was i capped my buffer on my Whm. Besides that I've just been playing WoW to see if it cures it. I'm getting bored with WoW too. I might be bored with MMOs and need a break.
Though i have to admit, WoW is pretty fun. The game system is better then FFXI in some ways but always fails in some ways. The AH is ACTUALLY a AH. Unlike FF where it's more of a store. It's a bit of a pain when seeing if there is gear for my lvl cause it only shows what's up on AH. A lot of the time i think I have the best gear then someone puts something nice up.
Making money in WoW is fairly easy and after playing FFXI for 2 years and it being a pain to get gil this is a nice refresher. The people are a lot nicer here then FFXI. First day playing a random guy came up to me and gave me 4 bags that can hold 12 items each. Talk about nice.
Thought with it's many people it's hard to find a name that isn't taken. I wanted Myrrh for my char but had to settle with Konta. Good name but not what i wanted. Lvling in WoW is insanely easier then FFXI. I'm a lvl 14 Priest and i have a Stoneskin spell that's better then Stoneskin. i think it was called "Power Word: Shield" Such a cheesy spell. Negates 88 Dmg. That combined with Fire Wall(I think that's what it's called) which increases my def by 315(or something).
Int giving Mp instead of making it easier for spells to land is MUCH nicer then FFXI. Lvl 14 with nearly 1k of Mp. I didn't have that till i was 75 Whm in FFXI.
One big pain though is after palying FF for so long my fingers have a pattern when playing and when i want to auto run i hit R. Which isn't auto run in WoW it's reply. Auto run is "Num lock" and using spells is a a pain. I'm used to hitting enter on the mob hitting down once and opening my magic. On WoW i have to open a book and go through these different sections. Like "Holy" "Shadow" and w/e.
The reply system is okay. little bit of a pain but okay. You can only reply to one person meaning no pushing alt r and talking to like 6 different people at a time.
But the biggest plus this game has over FF is ADD ONS. Thank you for allowing them to be used. My god these things are life savers. It's exp watch, FPS, bag total, durability, and so much more. thank you blizzard for being cool.
